We were at mom and dad's last weekend for annual branding. The weather turned out to be not so nice for spring, but we just added a few more layers and made a day of it. Finally got the last of the cows and calves paired back up around 9:00pm. What a long day, dad was kind of under the weather and he'd gotten a different calf cradle that didn't seem to do the trick like the old one so we were on the slow side. BUT on a better note they all got branded with the help of the whole family...even Madden came to watch for awhile.
